That family story is at the center of what we do. It is also why we want to be clear about what you are buying today and what we are building for the future.
The coffee you can order today
Our everyday online coffees are sourced from coffee-growing regions worldwide and roasted to order. These coffees are separate from our indoor farming project. An image of the farm or a story about our pilot should never imply that every bag in the shop was grown there.
When choosing a coffee, check its product page for the available size, grind and price. Where product-specific origin or tasting information is supplied, use that information to compare your options. If a detail matters to you and is not listed, ask us before ordering.
Our next chapter: the indoor hydroponic pilot
We have an original indoor hydroponic coffee pilot in Tryon, North Carolina. The first harvest is not yet available. It is a development story you can follow, rather than a description of the everyday coffee currently sold online.
The pilot gives us a place to explore indoor cultivation and share what we learn. Claims about water savings or other environmental benefits need a defined comparison and documented measurements. We do not use an unsupported percentage to describe the coffee you purchase.
